Name: Spike
Breed: Siberian Husky
Age: 11 months old
ABOUT THE DOG:
Spike is the Rassibi family's first dog. He came from a breeder, but at around 7
months, his sweet demeanor shifted to a relentless hyperactive personality that jumps and nips incessantly. Nowadays, Spike spends nearly all of his time in the family's backyard and can only
be viewed through the comfort of the sliding glass door.
ABOUT THE OWNER:
Joshua Rassibi is a very precocious 9-year-old who loves all animals. It was his
tenacity to be reunited with his dog that got Cesar Millan to visit this 4th grader. Josh lives with his parents, Salamand and Marjan, and his 5-year-old sister Sara.
BEHIND THE SCENES:
A New York Times reporter was visiting the set that day to observe Cesar

Vet Haters (Wed, 10 Mar 2010)
Name: Daisy Mae, Mobster, Tank
Breed: Terrier Mix, Shih Tzu, Rottweiler
Age: 10 years old, 11 years old, 2 years old
ABOUT THE DOGS:
Daisy Mae has epilepsy and was diagnosed when she was about 2 years old, but she
has always been aggressive and fearful of vets.
Mobster is very aggressive toward most people, especially Dr. Garcia. Mobster
actually chases Dr. Garcia out of the house. He is also missing an eye.
Tank is terrified of Dr. Garcia and being examined. Tank is extremely strong, so
it's been impossible for Lizette and Dr. Garcia to handle him. His former vet asked the owners to never bring him back.
ABOUT THE DOCTOR:
Dr. Rick Garcia's love for animals is what motivated his veterinary career. He
has studied the veterinary sciences everywhere from Florida to England, and he is a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. He finally made it to Los Angeles where he amassed some
celebrity clientele. Dr. Rick also has three dogs of his own: Dela, Koda, and Bodie, all of which are rescues.
BEHIND THE SCENES:
Dr. Garcia isn't just limited to dogs and cats. He lists a menagerie of animals
as patients, including a variety of tortoises, iguanas, bearded dragons, macaws, cockatoos, pigs, goats, sheep, and even fish!

Kelly Perry works as a city park ranger in Beaverton, and Rob Oberdorfer is a
legal assistant.

Family Feud (Tue, 19 Jan 2010)
Name: Chico & Peanut
Breed: Chihuahuas
Age: 1.5 and 2 years old
ABOUT THE DOGS:
Owners Pauline Mercado and her daughter Christine Kenney purchased Peanut,
a Chihuahua, from a private party when he was about six weeks old. A short while later they got Chico, another Chihuahua, when he was seven weeks old. The two
dogs were the best of friends.
When Christine left for college, she took Chico with her. The long-distance relationship drove a wedge between the two dogs, and the first time they saw each other after the separation, they
started fighting. From that initial reunion, the aggression has escalated to the point where the two dogs will now begin to fight if they are ever in the same room.
ABOUT THE OWNER:
Pauline is a professor in psychology, and she teaches graduate students to become
school psychologists. Her daughter Christine is a student of psychology at Ventura College.
BEHIND THE SCENES:
Pauline’s father spent his time between takes playing golf in the Mercado’s back
yard. The production assistant would have to fetch him when he was needed on camera.
